Wire Selector

Tell the selector what the equipment needs — a minimum continuous temperature, a minimum working voltage, and the approval the finished product ships under — and it returns the Xinya cable styles that meet all of it, ranked with the tightest fit first.

Take the common case: a machine that runs at 80 °C and carries 150 V. Nothing on this site writes that requirement down in one place, so a buyer ends up comparing dozens of style numbers by hand. Set the two figures below and the answer comes back in one screen, with the certificate reference for each style attached.

1 — Minimum operating temperature
2 — Minimum working voltage
3 — Approval the equipment ships under

Requirements we are asked for most

These open the selector with the answer already on screen, so a requirement can be checked in one click and the resulting link can be passed to a colleague or kept in a project file.

How the selection works

A catalogue line is offered when its published rating is at least the figure you entered, not when it matches exactly. Ask for 80 °C and you will see 105 °C and 150 °C lines too, because a higher rating also satisfies the requirement.

That is why the results are ranked by margin rather than by rating. A higher rating is not free — it normally means a different insulation compound, a thicker wall and a higher price — so the first result is usually the cheapest line that is still correct. The fit note under each result states exactly how much margin it carries over your figure.

Where a line carries two published figures, such as 600 V / 750 V or 90 °C wet / 105 °C dry, the selector matches against the lower one. The card shows the full published value so you can read the detail for yourself, but the matching is deliberately conservative: the tool will never claim a line meets a figure that only applies in the more favourable of its two conditions.

Three styles in the catalogue — UL1533, UL2547 and UL2571 — are rated by temperature only, because the UL style itself does not specify a voltage. They appear when you leave the voltage blank, and are excluded as soon as you enter one, with the card showing voltage not specified rather than a figure we cannot stand behind.

Where the figures come from

Every number in the tool is read from the product page behind the result, which in turn carries the manufacturer’s own construction data and the applicable standard. Nothing is estimated or interpolated. If a style’s rating is not documented, it does not appear in a constrained search — it will not be quietly guessed at.

The catalogue published on this site is a subset of what the factory runs, and the selector only covers styles whose ratings are documented here. If your requirement returns nothing, that usually means the right answer is a construction rather than a stock style rather than that nothing exists. Send it over and we will come back with a specific proposal instead of a list.

From the conductor to the finished harness

The selector sizes the wire. If the requirement is a finished assembly — crimped, connectorised, sleeved, marked and tested to a drawing — the wire harness range states what we build to, and every harness line names the wire styles it is normally built on. A drawing or a list of from-to points is enough to quote one.

Nothing on this site carries a price. Cable and harness are both quoted against the specification you send, because the price is a function of gauge, insulation, approval, length and volume, and any single published figure would be wrong by a wide margin in one direction or the other.

Questions about the selector

I need a wire rated 80 °C and 150 V. Which style should I use?

Run 80 and 150 through the selector and it returns every published style that meets both figures, tightest first. The closest fits are UL10272 and UL11079 (80 °C, 150 V, thin-wall PVC) and UL3346 (80 °C, 150 V, XLPE). If the harness has to survive more heat than the minimum, the next step up in the same family is UL1007 or UL1015 at 300 V and 600 V.

What certification does each style carry?

Every result states its approval scheme and certificate reference: UL 758 AWM under file E170689 for the North American styles, VDE 40028605 for the H05V-K and H07V-K harmonised lines, TUV R 50334045 and TUV R 50484553 for the EN 50618 and IEC 62930 photovoltaic cable, and PSE for the Japanese lines. The certificate reference travels with the harness quotation.

Does the selector only show wires you stock?

It only shows lines that are documented in this catalogue with a published temperature and voltage rating, so every result can be verified against the data sheet behind it. The catalogue is a subset of what the factory runs, so if your requirement returns nothing, send it over — it usually means the answer is a construction rather than a stock style.

Why is the tightest fit listed first?

A higher rating is not free: it usually means a different insulation compound, a thicker wall and a higher price. The ranking is by how much margin a line has over your requirement, so the first result is normally the cheapest line that is still correct.

Can the selector size a harness as well as the wire?

It selects the conductor. For the finished assembly — crimp, connector, sleeving, marking and test — the wire harness catalogue states what we build to, and a drawing or a from-to list gets you a quotation that names all of it.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

Certifications, lead time, payment, shipping and MOQ — the points buyers ask about most often. If something is still unclear, send us your requirement and we will answer directly. See the full FAQ →

01 Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a wire harness manufacturer — cutting, stripping, crimping, sealing and testing are all carried out in-house at our Suzhou plant. We are also an authorised distributor of Xinya brand electronic wire, so you can source both the wire and the finished harness from one supplier.

02 What certifications do your electronic wires have?

Our electronic wires carry UL, VDE, PSE and CE approvals, together with RoHS and REACH compliance for the European market; TUV approvals are available for PV and renewable-energy wire. Certificates and test reports are issued by the manufacturer and can be supplied with your quotation on request.

03 How long is the lead time?

For electronic wire, popular styles such as UL1007, UL1015, UL1061 and UL1569 are normally available quickly; other styles, non-standard colours and cut lengths usually take around 7 days. Wire harnesses are made to order, so the schedule depends on your drawing, connector availability and quantity — we confirm it in the quotation.

04 What are your payment terms?

We commonly accept T/T (telegraphic transfer), PayPal and Western Union. Typically a 30% deposit is required before production, with the balance paid before shipment.

05 How do you ship the goods?

Samples and small orders are shipped by international express (DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT) or by air freight. Larger orders normally go by sea to reduce freight cost. We can quote EXW, FOB, CIF or door-to-door terms and will recommend the option that best fits your budget and delivery date.

06 Do you have a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

We keep a low MOQ to support your business. Generally the MOQ is 1 piece for standard models, although it may vary slightly for customised products. Small trial orders are welcome.

07 Can you build harnesses to our own drawing or sample?

Yes. We build to print and build to sample — send us a 2D drawing, a BOM, connector part numbers or even a photo of the part in use, and we will assemble, test and quote accordingly.

08 Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?

Yes. We are happy to build a prototype first so that you can approve the fit, crimp and finish before committing to volume. Send the drawing and the target quantity and we will quote sample cost and lead time.

09 What information do you need to give a quotation?

For wire: the style or UL number, AWG, voltage and temperature rating, insulation, conductor, colour and length. For harnesses: the drawing or BOM, connector brand and part number, terminal and housing type, wire specification, cut length and tolerance, sleeving or tubing, label and packaging requirements, quantity and destination. If anything is unclear we will ask — or propose a construction for you.

10 Do you support OEM / ODM and private labelling?

Yes. We work with customer-specified connectors and brands as well as JST, Molex and HongXing, and can add printed markers, custom labels, printed bags and your own carton artwork for OEM and ODM projects.

11 How do you control quality?

Every order goes through incoming wire inspection, cutting and stripping checks, crimp height and terminal pull-force testing, 100% continuity and open-and-short testing, and a final dimensional and visual inspection. Inspection records can be supplied with the shipment when your project requires them.

12 Can you help with wire and connector selection?

Yes — our engineers help match wire gauge, insulation and temperature rating to your current, voltage and working environment, and select a terminal and housing combination that crimps reliably. Describe the application or send a sample and we will propose a construction.

13 Can you supply cut lengths and custom packaging?

Yes. Wire can be supplied in cut lengths, coils or spools, with PE bags, cartons, pallets and printed labels arranged to suit your warehouse or production line.

14 Do you ship worldwide, and can I visit the factory?

We ship worldwide, with regular shipments to Europe, North America, South-East Asia, the Middle East and Australia. You are welcome to visit our plant in Suzhou, and you can see our production lines in the factory videos on this site.

15 What happens if there is a quality problem after delivery?

Contact us with the order or batch number and photos of the issue. We will check it against our production and inspection records and, where the fault is confirmed on our side, arrange replacement or credit.
